The Zeiss PALM Laser Microdissection system offers contact free manipulation and microdissection of tissues and cell culture system. The separation/manipulation of the specimen occurs by means of a laser beam focused precisely and with high accuracy on a user selected region of interest. This is a tool for isolation of single cells or cell groups in preparation for PCA, RT-PCR, and proteomics.
